About Karecole Livery Yard
Having had horses pretty much since before I could walk, I studied at Aberdeen University for a degree in Agriculture Business Management, followed by a British Horse Society Teaching and Grooms Certificate at the Royal Dick School Veterinary Field Station at Roslin in Midlothian.
I started work with six months in a Belgian competition yard, followed by 3 years managing Temple Farm Livery Stables.
Then in 1999 I set up a small riding school at West Linton on rented land whilst building up the livery and loaning side of the business, and marrying husband Andrew with whom I now have two young daughters.
in 2008 I had the opportunity to buy some land at Dolphinton, with the aim of building a house and riding stables to expand the business.
Today, what Karecole Farm Stables is about is emphasising the benefits for the every day rider getting out and about and simply enjoying their horse.
